PanchPrana was created by Saurav Verma, a technology professional and yoga practitioner who spent eighteen years working in product management and IT management at enterprise technology companies.
His journey into yoga began with practice rather than a plan to build an app. Over the years, he trained extensively in yoga and completed the 900-hour Advanced Teachers' Training Course in Yoga Education at The Yoga Institute, Mumbai. He is also a Yoga Teacher and Evaluator certified by the Yoga Certification Board, Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, and a lifetime Yoga Professional member of the Indian Yoga Association.

Practice
His personal practice draws from more than one tradition. He has practised Isha Yoga, including Shambhavi Mahamudra, Shakti Chalana Kriya and Hatha Yoga, as well as practices from the Bihar School of Yoga tradition, including Surya Namaskar, meditation, asana, pranayama and shatkarma.
Why PanchPrana
PanchPrana grew from a simple idea: practice should be easier to learn, easier to follow, and easier to sustain.
Rather than treating yoga and breathwork as something people only do in a class, PanchPrana brings the elements of a personal practice together in one place: pranayama, meditation, yoga, movement and sleep practices.
Saurav designs PanchPrana with the perspective of both a practitioner and a product builder: bringing together traditional practices, clear instruction, precise timing and thoughtful technology to create an experience that people can return to every day.
PanchPrana is the result of that intersection: a technology-built product shaped by years of practice and study.
