1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PanchPrana mobile app and panchprana.com (together, the "Service"), operated by Saurav Verma ("we," "us," "our" — distributed on Google Play under the developer name PavePulse). By downloading, installing, or using PanchPrana, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. The service
PanchPrana is a self-guided wellness app for breathwork, meditation, sleep, and yoga. It offers narrated guided audio sessions; a library of breathing Techniques, yoga Poses, and Movements, each with a short educational "Learn" guide; goal-based Practices whose durations and audio you can adjust; multi-day Courses; and tools to build your own custom practices.
Release status. PanchPrana is generally available on the Apple App Store and on Google Play. Clauses below that describe both app stores describe how the Service works on whichever store you obtained it from.
PanchPrana's content is made with AI assistance and human review: the guided-session scripts and Learn guides were drafted with AI and then reviewed and edited by us, the pose illustrations and the music beneath the guided sessions were AI-generated, and the voices in guided sessions are synthetic rather than recordings of a human narrator — modelled on no real person. We reviewed all of it and hold editorial responsibility for it. The ambient background sounds you can choose for self-guided practice are licensed from a third-party stock library. No AI runs while you use the app: there is no chatbot and no generative feature, and nothing about you or your practice is sent to an AI system.
PanchPrana guides and times your practice using voice and audio cues. It is not a substitute for a qualified teacher, physician, or therapist. It cannot see you, and it does not evaluate, supervise, or correct your form, posture, or breathing. It is a general wellness product, not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.
3. Eligibility
PanchPrana is not directed to, and should not be used by, children under 13. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.
4. Health & safety disclaimer
PanchPrana is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and using it does not create a doctor-patient or therapist-client relationship. The app contains two kinds of practice that carry real physical risk if done without judgement:
- Breathing practices — including breath retention (kumbhaka) and rapid breathing such as bhastrika and kapalabhati — which can cause lightheadedness, tingling, or fainting.
- Physical postures and movements — yoga asanas, joint mobilisations, and flows — which load the spine, neck, knees, wrists, and shoulders and can cause strain or injury if forced or performed with poor form.
Neither is appropriate for everyone. Accordingly:
- Consult a physician before beginning any new breathing, movement, or yoga practice, especially if you are pregnant or recently postpartum, or have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, a respiratory condition (such as asthma or COPD), epilepsy or a seizure disorder, glaucoma or retinal problems, a history of panic attacks or anxiety disorders, osteoporosis, a spinal, joint, or disc condition, or have had recent surgery or injury.
- Stop immediately and seek medical attention if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, faint, nauseated, short of breath in a concerning way, or feel pain — particularly sharp or joint pain — during or after a practice.
- Never practice breath retention or intense breathing while driving, operating machinery, standing at height, or in or near water.
- Move within a comfortable range. Warm up before deeper postures, never force a stretch or bounce into one, and come out of any pose that hurts. Practice on a stable, non-slip surface with room to fall safely.
- Guided audio sessions run on a fixed timeline and cannot respond to you. You remain in control: pause, stop, or skip at any time.
- You are solely responsible for determining whether a technique, pose, or session is appropriate for you, and for practicing within your own ability. The Learn guides are introductory and general in nature — they are not personalized instruction or coaching.
5. Subscriptions & billing
PanchPrana offers a free tier and an optional Premium auto-renewing subscription, monthly or annual, that unlocks the full library — every guided breathwork, meditation, and sleep session, every adjustable practice, all multi-day courses, and the ability to build and save your own practices.
- Billing. Subscriptions are billed and processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, in the price and currency shown at checkout. We do not process payments directly and never see your card details.
- Free trials. Where an introductory free trial is offered, the exact trial length and the price that follows are shown on the subscription screen in the app before you confirm. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts automatically into a paid subscription at that price. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you subscribe before it ends.
- Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it renews. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Managing or cancelling. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID account settings (App Store) or Google Play account settings (Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
- Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their respective refund policies, not by us directly.
- Price changes. If subscription pricing changes, we'll provide notice as required by the applicable app store before the change applies to you.
6. Your content & feedback
Custom practices you create are stored locally on your device. You retain all rights to the sequences and timings you build. We don't access, collect, or claim ownership of your custom practices.
Feedback. If you send us suggestions, ideas, or feature requests about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use them without restriction, attribution, or compensation. This applies only to feedback you volunteer — never to the custom practices you build, which remain entirely yours.
7. Intellectual property
The PanchPrana app, including its design, technique descriptions, guides, audio cues, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You're granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to disrupt it, bypass subscription controls, reverse-engineer the app, or use it in a way that could harm us or other users.
9. Availability & changes to the Service
The PanchPrana library is not fixed. We may add, change, retime, or remove sessions, techniques, poses, practices, and courses as the app develops, and we may add, change, or withdraw features. We may also suspend or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time.
We don't promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Guided audio is streamed and needs a working network connection; the rest of the app is designed to work offline. If we discontinue the Service entirely while you hold a paid subscription, any refund is handled by Apple or Google under their policies — see Subscriptions & billing.
10. Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties we don't control:
- Apple and Google, for distribution, payment, and subscription management.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and delivers guided audio.
- Apple iCloud or Google account backup, if you switch on sync or backup in the app.
- Google (Analytics, Ads, and Tag Manager) and Meta, for the usage measurement and advertising described in our Privacy Policy — and only if you have consented to it.
- YouTube, where a video is embedded on this website, and only once you press play.
Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Where the Service links to a third-party site, we provide the link for convenience only and are not responsible for that site's content, terms, or privacy practices.
11. Termination
You may stop using PanchPrana anytime by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT IT WILL MEET YOUR HEALTH OR WELLNESS GOALS.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF HEALTH, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING YOUR PRACTICE OF ANY BREATHING TECHNIQUE OFFERED IN THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
14. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Saurav Verma from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with: your use of the Service; your breach of these Terms; your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party; or any injury, illness, or harm resulting from a technique, pose, practice, or session you chose to perform. We may assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate with that defence.
15. Apple-specific terms
This section applies when you obtain PanchPrana from the Apple App Store, and is required by Apple. Where it conflicts with the rest of these Terms, this section governs for the iOS app.
- This agreement is with us, not Apple. These Terms are concluded between you and Saurav Verma only, not with Apple Inc. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
- Scope of licence. The licence granted to you for PanchPrana is a non-transferable licence to use the app on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that it may be accessed by other accounts via Family Sharing or volume purchasing where applicable.
- Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the app. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services.
- Warranty. We are solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app.
- Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
- Intellectual property. If a third party claims the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
- Legal compliance. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, have the right (and are deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
- Contact. Questions, complaints, or claims about the app should be directed to support@panchprana.com.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India, except where applicable app-store or local consumer-protection law requires otherwise. Nothing here removes any mandatory right you have as a consumer under the law of your own country of residence.
Talk to us first. Before starting any formal proceeding, please email support@panchprana.com describing the problem, and give us 30 days to try to resolve it with you. Most issues are settled far faster this way.
17. General
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions stay in full force.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service, and replace any earlier understanding on the subject.
- No waiver. If we don't enforce a provision of these Terms, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign them, for example as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the app, on notice to you.
- Notices. We may give notice by posting to this website, or through the app. You can reach us at support@panchprana.com.
- Survival. The sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive any termination of these Terms.
- Headings. Section headings are for convenience and do not affect interpretation.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the "Effective date" above when we do, and material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
